Painted in late summer on the track that runs alongside the Victorian flue connecting Allendale to the chimneys on Keenley fell three miles away. It is a relic of the lead mining in this region which goes back to Roman times. Wildflowers, heather and other flora proliferate amongst rocks of the drystone flue.
