Painted in late snow in March. The height often gives Hadrian's Wall some suprising weather. I stood on a piece of wood when painting it, a trick a farmer told me about whilst I was painting on a snowdrift in Weardale years ago.
Oil on canvas, painting 760 x 510, bespoke frame 940 x 690.
also available as a giclee print
