"Evening Star Over the Harbour", oil, 60cm x 50cm
This was painted following a trip to the Northumberland coast just before the current lockdown. It is the view over Seahouses harbour with Venus setting in the west. Venus is the brightest thing in the sky after the sun and moon and is a spectacular sight. It was actually visible in the morning just before sunrise, but I moved it from east to west and morning to evening, two advantages of not working on location!
